    Decorate a spring wreath out of natural materials. Everything will be supplied to make a wreath with decorations from nature, including cones, nuts, and seed pods. Select from a variety of wreath bases including grape vines and wire frames. Participants may bring additional items and ribbon. After constructing a wreath, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while adding finishing touches. Space is limited.

    Bird Walk: Waterfowl and Early Spring Migrants – Park Rx

    Meet Rick and Peggy Price in the South Parking Lot at the entrance to the Towpath Trail for this early migration bird walk. Expect good diversity of waterfowl, some early songbird migrants and a few lingering winter species. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield.     Cat In The Hat Learning Series

    Join a Naturalist for a fun interactive story session for children ages 3-5. Stories, rhymes, and a craft/activity will introduce science through the eyes of the Cat In The Hat. Classes are offered during 3 consecutive Wednesdays. This program is sponsored by Altrusa of South Central PA, providing a book for each participant.     Flower Walk: Earliest Bloomers – Park Rx

    Join volunteer Jane Earle to look for Skunk Cabbage and other cold tolerant plants along the North Boardwalk. Meet at the Nature Center. We will also see how some plants overwinter as a cluster of basal leaves. Participants who pre-register and attend any flower walk in 2026 will be entered into a raffle with the chance to win a wildflower-themed gift basket from the Nature Shop courtesy of the Friends of Wildwood.
