Magisterial District Judge Pianka’s Office to be Relocated Until New Permanent Address Established
Magisterial District Judge Barbara Pianka’s Office – which serves Harrisburg Wards 3, 4, 8, and 9-1 – will be temporarily relocated, starting July 19.
Magisterial District Judge Pianka and staff are moving from 2967-A N. 7th Street, Harrisburg, to 451 Mall Road (in the County Judicial Center, located next to Dauphin County Prison.)
Anyone attending a hearing, or filing paperwork, within Magisterial District 12-1-02 should report to the new location, as of July 19.
Until then, the office at 2967-A N. 7th St. is open normal hours.
We will notify the public when a new, permanent address for the office is established.
In addition, President Judge John F. Cherry issued an Administrative Order directing that beginning July 19, 2022, any criminal matters arising from 12-2-04 (MDJ Sonia McKnight) shall be filed at 12-1-02 (MDJ Pianka’s Office) and any non-traffic cases originating within Magisterial District boundaries of 12-1-02 (MDJ Pianka) shall be filed at 12-2-04 (MDJ McKnight’s Office).
