Penn State Extension Spring Symposium: Celebrating Natives in the Garden

Join the Penn State Master Gardeners for an enriching morning at the 2025 Spring Symposium, an event crafted for those passionate about incorporating native plants into their landscapes to support local ecosystems. This symposium delves into the aesthetic and ecological importance of native species with three engaging topics: nurturing delicate Spring Ephemerals, understanding the critical relationships between Monarchs and Milkweeds, and selecting vibrant native plants to enhance Summer Gardens with color and habitat. Gain expert insights, practical gardening techniques, and sustainable strategies for creating biodiverse spaces that benefit people and pollinators alike. Pre-registration is required. This program can be attended in person or virtually.
