Detweiler Park                 Free 

Join us for a hike a Detweiler Park. You’ll learn more about Detweiler Park and ongoing projects from Kayla Harbert, Dauphin County Parks and Recreation Department’s Northern Dauphin County Parks Manager. You’ll also learn more about the Governor Pinchot Group of the Sierra Club along with a talk on Spotted Lantern Flies from Outing Chair Bob Rebuck. 

The hike will be approximately 2.5- 3 miles and will include David’s Field Loop, Frankie’s Dogleg Loop and a small section of the Airstrip loop. Participants should wear proper footwear as some areas of the trails may be muddy and wet. These trails are mainly flat, but there are a few areas with an incline. This program is part of the Park Rx series of programs sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by UPMC. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
